Predictably, those easily satisfied Twihards will be thrilled with the first character poster from the upcoming Eclipse, but the rest of us are sort of scratching our heads the apparent lack of effort and amateurish photoshopping that’s produced this so-called promotional material. One would think such plainness would have appeared in an earlier teaser poster instead, but (interestingly) Eclipse actually had a really great teaser poster. At any rate, Pajiba collected an amusing set of reactions to this limp dick of the above poster, but I remain fixated upon whatever the fuck is going on with the boys’ facial structures. RPattz has been squished, and Taylor Lautner has been elongated, or so it would seem when compared with these New Moon character poster clips from last year:

And this is why I hate Google Images. The teaser poster looks nice, but it’s obvious someone was drunk, Googled something like “black moon,” and used layers. Tons of layers. The font sucks and I hate it when people use red outline on black. It looks trashy and a piss-poor attempt at faux goth. It’s awful.
