Well, this is interesting. That story about the South African model who supposedly slept with Pete Doherty - the story we called bullshit on - has been confirmed as completely false. The Daily Shite Mail has essentially admitted that it fictionalized the whole affair:

Contrary to reports that Lindi Hingston had slept with Pete Doherty and broken up his relationship with Kate Moss, we can confirm that Lindi and Pete have never slept together, they haven’t even held hands!

As a gesture of goodwill we have made a donation to Lindi’s favourite charity the MyLife Project in South Africa.

The newspaper has also deleted its original article. Unfortunately for Pete, he still got dumped by Kate Moss. Even though he’s a junkie mess, that pretty much sucks.
