The Eighties are Really, Really Dead

More and more often, I’m stumbling across unwelcome little reminders that I’m getting ridiculously fucking old. Like this item, for example. Up above is a picture of the boys from Wham! in their Eighties heyday. We all know that George Michael is still around, adding the occasional arrest to his rap sheet and generally acting like a bit of a fool. Andrew Ridgeley, by contrast, vanished without a trace. It turns out that he’s been living reclusively in Cornwall, where he found the solitude he needed to devote himself full-time to his project of morphing into Larry David. His work is nearly complete, as you can see below the fold:
