Evan Rachel Wood is a damn weirdo with some serious daddy issues, but she’s a reasonably talented actress and a decent singer. Unfortunately, talent and taste are two very, very different things. Now that Evan’s suppressed her better instincts and hooked up again with her undead string bean of a boyfriend, she’s looking for ways to revive Marilyn Manson’s career. And apparently she thinks a collaboration with Britney Spears would be just the thing:

I want him to sing with her,… I think that’d be great. I totally want to see Marilyn Manson and Britney Spears. Who doesn’t want to see Marilyn Manson and Britney Spears sing onstage together?”

I can name three groups of people who wouldn’t want to see this: 1) Fans of Marilyn Manson; 2) Fans of Britney Spears; 3) everyone else. The only possible virtue to Evan’s plan is that it has the potential for destroying two careers whose shelf dates have long since expired. Now that I think about it, I may have sold Evan Rachel Wood short. Her reunion with Marilyn Manson just might be part of a cunning and extremely vengeful plan.
