For better or worse (see trailer), The Runaways will open in over 1400 theaters on March 19. This music-fueled biopic of what has been credited as a “ground-breaking” 1970s teenage girl band has received a lot of attention, mostly for its headliners, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning; but the film also features Danielle Riley Keough and Scout Taylor-Compton, the latter of whom is probably dying to escape the scream-queen typecasting associated with starring in Rob Zombie’s Halloween remakes. Good luck with that.
Of course, prospective audiences absolutely will not be deterred from focusing upon Stewart and Fanning when they hear that the two actresses share a lesbian makeout scene:
Kristen, 19, will have a lesbian kissing scene with 15-year-old Dakota Fanning in the film. The script reportedly calls for Kristen, who plays Joan Jett in the film, to kiss Dakota, who stars as singer Cherie Curie, resulting in their clothes being “scattered all over their hotel room floor in one scene.”
Ordinarily, this type of scene would sound rather hot, but isn’t Dakota, uh, a bit young for this sort of thing? Just. So. Wrong.

Wasn’t Dakota too young for a rape scene?
Fanning seems to be wanting to corner that lucrative pedophile demographic considering her other roles.
15 is too young for (lesbian) sex? Since WHEN?
Or did you mean 15 is too young to be pretending to have sex for the titillation of the intended audience? Who, considering The Runaways peaked in 1977, will surely consist primarily of dirty old men.
so Polanski is returning to the US? Sounds like his product
Yes it is essential to pretend that sexuality magically starts ab nihilo at the age of consent in California.
