The Twilight-Heroin Motif Gets Even Creepier

Twilight Heroin

In the original Twilight novel, author Stephanie Meyer included some (allegedly) swoonworthy dialogue, in which Edward tells Bella that, due to her blood’s intoxicating scent, “Yes, you are exactly my brand of heroin.” Not surprisingly, the Twihards have latched onto this quote and created a whole mass of fan art and cute little icons that say stuff like, “Edward is exactly my brand of heroin.” Now, things have gotten even skeevier by way of actual Twilight-black-marketed heroin:

{H}eroin baggies with “Twilight” characters were seized recently in West Hempstead, Long Island. The “Twilight”-themed baggies have been gaining popularity over the last couple of months.

TMZ has a look at some bags of heroin emblazoned with RPattz’s face, and here are some fan-made icons (more here) devoted to the Twilight heroin quote. The not-exactly-serendipitous effect of this combination is what can only be described as some “really weird shit.”
