Well, I continue my newborn skepticism as far as the cast of Machete goes, but a bit more information (per IGN) at least fills in some of the blanks here. Writer-director Robert Rodriguez has lined up Steven Seagal as a drug lord and Jeff Fahey as a spin doctor. Together, they double-cross Machete (Danny Trejo) by hiring him to kill Robert De Niro’s corrupt senator, and, naturally, things go wrong. Machete goes on the run with the help of Cheech Marin’s Padre/Priest and La Lohan’s “socialite with a penchant for guns.” Jessica Alba plays a sexy U.S. Immigrations agent (she’s got “sexy” down, anyway), and Michelle Rodriguez plays the token love interest of Machete.

Aside from Michelle Rodriguez, these set photos don’t look so promising, but at least you can catch Alba picking her nose for the camera in one of the below shots:
