Well, the X-Men: First Class trailer seems to point towards a better movie than Wolverine, but seriously, does it even matter whether this movie is good or bad? The general public will eat this shit up regardless, but it’s just not my sort of thing unless one considers the (ahem) talent involved. Naturally, I am not posting this trailer because I care at all about X-Men: First Class in and of itself but rather because of the YouTube comments thus far: “ORGASM!!!! Can’t wait. Michael Fassbender can do NO WRONG!” and “MMMM. JAMES MCAVOY.” Not to mention “Fuck me with an umbrella! This actually looks pretty bad ass!” as well as “OH FUCK I JUST JIZZED ALL OVER MYSELF.”
Or something like that.

Wowzers that looks horrific.
As the 300+ X-Men comics safely stored in boxes in front of me will attest, I’m sort of a bit knowledgeable about the series. And the amount of mindbendingly stupefying revisionism makes this bear no resemblance to anything that could be construed as X-Men. If they’re going to use the X-Men name they could at least completely rework the thing.
