Well, I’ve never been a Lady Gaga fan, but this is certainly one of the stupidest things I’ve heard in quite a long time:
The nuns who teach at the Convent of the Sacred Heart girls school on East 91st Street are said to be aghast at the exploits of one alumna, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, a k a Lady Gaga. The pop tart is known for her scanty costumes and such lyrics as “I wanna take a ride on your disco stick.” Said one source, “When someone showed the nuns a video of her bloody performance at Sunday night’s VMA Awards, the good sisters were not amused.” A school spokesman didn’t return calls.
As if anyone would actually think it was a good idea to whip out this performance for a bunch of Catholic nuns? On a related note, I wonder if anyone has bothered to show the good sisters a certain video of another alumnus, one Paris Hilton. You know, just for kicks.

It’s funny, I had heard that a lot of the people sent to Australia weren’t poor innocents caught stealing bread, but rather what the English used to quaintly refer to as “sturdy vagabonds”. That is, people too lazy to work.
