Meeting the man or woman of ‘our dreams’ often happens in the most unlikely ways, but ditching one’s fiance to marry the wedding planner just sounds ominous, doesn’t it?
Jessie Hunt fell for Michael Phillips as she argued with fiance Matthew Jackson about their wedding.
… I told him that I wanted a big full-on wedding but he wanted a very small one. The more Matthew and I tried to sort things out, the further we drifted apart.
Jessie called off the wedding and Michael ended up proposing when they met up a few weeks later.
Hmm. On a whim, she decided to marry a fellow simply because they agree on how to organize the wedding. This fellow, whom she doesn’t much know, chose the career of coordinating various color schemes involving ugly bridesmaid dresses, flowers, and champagne flutes. Sounds fab.
Tune in next time for the groom-comes-out-of-closet episode.

Yes, having our wedding planner and caterer both be openly gay definitely has its perks. Especially as I’m told I’m being married primarily for my cooking ability.
For a minute there, I thought you were summarizing the plot of the J. Lo movie, “The Wedding Planner,” which I thoroughly enjoyed no matter how unrealistic. I swear it had nothing to do with the fact I lust over Matthew McConnaughey.
