Gordon Ramsay is notorious for busting everyone else’s balls on his hit shows Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, but it turns out the celebrity chef can not only dish it out, he can take it. And then, presumably, dish it out. We’ll let Ramsay describe the incident that proves this claim in his distinctive native patois:
The other day I was standing too close to the hob when I was cooking. I was wearing these cotton trousers and underneath I was going commando. Suddenly, I felt this searing heat. I went, ‘F***me, bol***ks to that’, and for once I was spot on. My b***s were burning.
Hmmm. It’s edgy, inventive, a definite culinary risk. Just the sort of thing Ramsay is known for. Still, Grilled Scottish Yarbles Flambé might be a little too advanced for the American palate. I’ll stick with the risotto, thanks.
