So, I’ve been sitting here for the past five minutes trying to figure out if this picture is real or not. It’s not that Trent Reznor is necessarily infallible, per se, but I always kind of figured him, at the very least, to be a Mac guy.

STEALING
THAT!
So, I guess you think it’s authentic, eh?
That just made my week.
Color me skeptical… but it’s funny.
Hmm, not sure how real that is but I have to say, the new NIN show is the best thing I’ve ever seen. Ever.
Fake. I’m not defending NIN in any way, it’s just a terrible photoshop job.
That’s actually from NIN’s show; that screen only flashes for a split second, though. Weird that someone was able to catch it. It’s literally only up there for a second or less.

That is seriously awesome.

OK, I retract my skepticism.
The caption is sheer genius as well. Someone should get free tickets for that!

Just saw NIN…..awesome, awesome….best light show ever. The Blue Screen of Death only showed for a split second, that photo is the only way anyone would have seen it, the crowd only saw a quick flash and barely perceptible.
Dude doesn’t have a drummer?
Just found out…this blue screen of death is entirely intentional it seems. TR is a big Mac guy and hates Window.
He has a drummer geo, but some of the songs use drum machines instead.

But Reznor, who is an unabashed Mac fan, is also playful about having to partially rely on Windows boxes for some of the show’s visuals.
“We purposefully put one frame of the Blue Screen of Death in this collage of static that comes up at the end of ‘Great Destroyer,’ and right away people caught it,” he says.
In gretta’s post, they put the Gizmodo link on their, and the first video was in Red Rocks on Sept. 2nd. I was personally at that show, and didn’t notice it myself. But from NIN photoblog, in the dressing room of Red Rocks, one of them took a picture, where clearly Trent was on his Mac. Before NIN appearance, a tech guy was also using a Mac for a quick sound test. I was at first skeptical, but then watched the Youtube videos, and seen it. Clearly this wasn’t a mistake, just a quick jab at Windows/Microsoft. BTW: NIN rocks!
def not a shop….you can see it in a video of the song..The Great Destroyer
I thought this was going to be the photo of Trent’s “Important Pre-Show Ritual.” That one’s WAY more undignified than this one!
