Bloody hell! It looks like Mr. Self-Destruct has been enjoying himself too much on Twitter again. For his followers, Trent Reznor has executed the best April Fool’s joke since, well, that bizarre incident last year, in which the Pajiba staff lost their fucking minds in a comments thread.

Reznor has announced the release of a new full-length album, Nine Inch Nails’ Strobelight. What a fucking album cover . . . I can only hope that, underneath it all, he’s not wearing any pants.

As usual, Reznor’s attention to detail (“!!!DO NOT STEAL!!!!”) is rather commendable as evidenced with the catchy little tune & album tracklist he’s whipped up. In doing so, Reznor has not only parodied the recent epidemic of Timbaland-produced albums but also takes a swipe at Bono, Justin Timberlake, Mr. Goop (a.k.a., Coldplay’s Chris Martin) and Jay-Z. Oh, and Rez is definitely not backing down over the whole Chris Cornell thing because, yes, it is rather ridiculous, isn’t it?
