For the past month or so, Trent Reznor has been back in the studio working on a post-NIN project. As is typical of Reznor, he’s started posting a series of semi-cryptic photos on NIN.com; the most recent photo, seen above, finally shows the money shot — Reznor on da mic. Also present (as “blurry guy in the background”) is Atticus Ross, who collaborated with Nine Inch Nails for Ghosts I-IV, The Slip, Year Zero, and With Teeth. One would also assume that Mariqueen Maandig Reznor is somehow involved in the new project, but she hasn’t been formally revealed thus far.
