its pretty simple really, compared to men women dont get that much to drool over. what madonna said about men her age comes to mind. and yes there is a double standard highlighted in “I R A Darth Aggie” post. yeah its a bit creepy, but men have been drooling over teenage girls for years-no one remember britney back in the day. i dont remember them getting chastised for i mainly she got that. either way its not right but thats the truth.

I have a teenaged daughter and I can commiserate. Hell, my first celebrity crush was Tom Brokaw (no shit) when I was around 10. I am in my early 30′s and I know other mothers who I am almost ashamed to admit I am on a first name basis with.

I do NOT see the appeal of Robert Whatshisnuts, sexually. Even his fucking doll looks like a junky. Give me Eli Roth any day of the week and thrice on Saturday.

As a tween/teen I never expressed any interest in pop-culture and seemed to be one of only a few girls at school who didn’t subscribe to Teen Beat magazine. My first crush was at about age 7 and it was Donny Osmond and that was the end of it right there.

By 13 I had seen Cool Hand Luke and found myself utterly enamored of a certain already middle-aged man. To this day I still think Paul Newman was one of the sexiest men to ever live.

The idea of 40-something year old women masturbating to the fantasy of R-Pattz or, worse, the Taylor kid, makes me more than just a bit embarrased for them.

Worse: imagine being their teenage daughter.
