Hook ‘Em Horns! How about that damn Rose Bowl game last night? Vince Young did some serious rushing to score four touchdowns and duly kick USC’s territorial ass, and though I’m ordinarily ambivalent about such things, that was one nailbiting fourth quarter. To put things mildly, I’m with Matthew McConaughey on this one:

It was a good game, well played by both sides, and Texas deserves the win, but two things:
1. a three point win is not an “ass-kicking”.
2. I do hope their fans have learned a little civility and good sportsmanship since 2000. I had the displeasure of encountering them at the Holiday Bowl that year, and they were the second rudest fans I’d ever met (only UW fans top them).
