For the last couple of seasons, Prison Break has been one of Fox TV’s breakout hits, thanks mostly to the preposterous hotness of Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield. (And, to be fair, some decent acting and inventive plotlines.) Fox pushed the show with some clever, unconventional ad campaigns, and EastSouthWestNorth has rounded up a nice assortment of them. The kicker here is the last ad in the set, where Wentworth appears to be endorsing a hospital in Fuzhou, China, that promises to clear up your prostrate problems in three to five days. Turns out that the hospital pinched Miller’s image without his knowledge or permission, but then you already knew that. It’s kind of appealing to think that Fox’s outside-the-box ad campaign for Prison Break would include an offer to have Wentworth Miller drop by and examine your prostate, but that’s just not realistic. After all, most of Wentworth’s most devoted fans don’t have prostates.
