Eddie and Alex Van Halen have reunited with David Lee Roth to kick off one of the most under anticipated tours of the century.
LOS ANGELES Van Halen fans, get ready to “Jump.” The rockers have re-formed with original frontman David Lee Roth and will set out on a national tour beginning in October, according to a report posted Wednesday on Billboard Magazine’s Web site.In its report, the music industry trade publication said Van Halen will play 50 dates in arenas across North America.
Fifty Dates, Fifty States, Fifty Rest-homes. Replacing Van Halen’s original bass guitarist will be Eddie’s son Wolfgang. Wolfgang is also in charge of handing out the aging “rockers” medications (don’t forget the fiber kid) and making sure they don’t miss the Early Bird Special at IHOP.
Rumors that Geritol® will be sponsoring the tour have yet to be confirmed. Hopefully Eddie won’t end up back in rehab, like the last time he had to deal with DLR’s incessant whining and primping.

Ragging on them because they are aging is kind of stupid, age doesn’t mean you have lost your talent , or drive, or enjoyment for the audience or the band. That’s not a valid arguement. I’d kill to see the Kinks perform live.
Now maybe this dysfunctional band won’t go the distance because they are the most self indulgent and childish men around – just don’t throw all bands into the same pot. VH is an anomoly unto themselves.
Easy there Jinxy, I never said they’d lost their talent. I’m just concerned about the elderly gentlemen. I mean Eddie’s already had a hip replaced, I’m worried to death that DLR will be in for the same thing if he tries to jump of a speaker like he used to.
Not to mention, aren’t you even the least bit distressed that DLRmay be dusting off those assless chaps he used to wear?
