Let us pretend that the following song did not appear on the soundtrack to Batman & Robin, for certainly The Smashing Pumpkins themselves looked embarrassed at the 1997 premiere of the movie. Instead, the music shall stand on its own, for The End Is The Beginning Is The End is an elaborate and twisted musical creation from the mind of Billy Corgan, who based the song on the Batman he grew up reading. Something also very Churchillian exists throughout the song, which brings me to reference the following quote:

In other words, as Billy Corgan himself once wrote, “This is war, motherfucker, and don’t you forget it. It’s us versus them, and if you’re giving in you’re giving up.”
