Those Twilight fans certainly have much to look forward to in terms of their bizarro eye candy. Between werewolves with waxed chests and “Robert Pattinson’s porcelain-white six-pack,” the upcoming New Moon will certainly cause much swooning (and laughter). However, a certain actor made a statement to MTV about a so-called “secret scene,” which has been the source of more than a few whispers:
“We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene,” revealed “New Moon” actor Jamie Campbell Bower, talking about a racy moment that was added into the upcoming film. “Yeah, it’s me, Michael Sheen and Christopher [Heyerdahl]. we just sit there, naked . . . . We try and kill Bella, try and convince Edward to come and stay with us and live with us, because Peter [Facinelli]‘s character had come and lived with us before,” Bower explained. “There’s a scene with the [Carlisle meeting] background to it, and it’s good fun.”
Yeah, that sounds like a good time, alright… that is, if director Chris Weitz had wanted to add several extra doses of homoeroticism to this sequel. To the dismay of at least a few theatergoers, unfortunately, Weitz has officially denied the rumour:
I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi are not naked! Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me — which is why he’s such a good actor.
This is such non-news, but I just wanted an excuse — any excuse at all — to post the above photo because it makes me laugh hysterically. Apparently, at the beginning of New Moon, vegetarian vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) throws a birthday party for his human girlfriend, Bella (Kristen Stewart), at his place. Of course, all those other vegetarian vampires are also in attendance and, presumably, nibbling on their rodent appetizers. Then, Bella gets a paper cut while opening a present, and the blonde one goes batshit crazy when he smells her blood. Funny shit.
