Some overly sensitive soul emailed me recently about my tendency to make jokes about Hitler and (more specifically) his astounding resemblance to disgusting felines. Instead of justifying my freakish sense of humour, I shall refer you to the FAQ section of Cats That Look Like HItler, which in part states as such:
Aren’t you guys glorifying Hitler’s memory?
Let’s get this straight. Hitler was an arsehole. Hitler was a disgusting, pus-ridden lump of excrement from the devil’s own anus. Before we go any further, let’s just reiterate that. As such, we think it is entirely appropriate to reduce him to an object of ridicule by comparing his physical appearance with a collection of fluffy, cute moggies.
That’s such a well played answer that I feel the need to post another Kitler. Rowrr!

If these sensitive people really wanted to get upset about something, maybe they should be getting upset at those guys and girls with the ridiculous looking (ridiculous on white people) dreadlocks who bring out the Hitler card against a politician or any other human being with whom they disagree about politics or pretty much anything. I don’t think that just because I don’t think the patch of poison ivy in my back yard has feelings, that equates me with the worst genocidal dictator in history.
If you’re really that sensitive about ‘glorifying’ Hitler’s memory, then stop using it to end an argument you’re losing.
