Why couldn’t it have been Tom Hanks? Better yet Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg on a bender together.

Oh damn, you’re right. I was just thinking of people in Hollywood that I can’t stand.
”””insult””? the Jews? Insulting the Jews might be something along the lines of ”””Jews have big noses””?. Or mabye that Jews are cheap with their money. But lets be clear about this. Saying ”””The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world””? doesn”””t insult Jews; it demonizes them, plain and simple.
Having said that, I”””ve read Mr. Gibson”””s statement of apology including that he is ”””in the process of understanding where those vicious words came from during that drunken display””?. I think those are honest and introspective words, therefore I give him the benifit of the doubt and forgive him, just as I have been forgiven even when I didn”””t deserve it.
Let”””s just hope that his ”””journey to recovery””? isn”””t too public. After all, if he ends up doing something hokey like public service announcement for the ADL, as a Jew I think I”””d squirm in my seat. I think a public service announcement for MADD (mothers against drunk driving) would be better.
