Oh, Woody. Despite the blatant suggestions found within still images of Vicky Cristina Barcelona (here and there), and, in shameless disregard to the “Wakka chikka, wakka chikka” vibe going on within the film’s trailer itself, Woody Allen still insists that he is not a dirty old man who just wants to see Scarlett Johansson’s boobies. Indeed, the auteur maintains that any so-called threesome found within the film itself would be rather incidental and, at best, a plot device that simply pales in comparison to the real-life harem of fembots drawn from Woody’s own stockpile of “criminally sexy” actresses who would “sew the hems of his pants” if requested. So, despite the actual occurence of a threesome between Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, and Scarlett, Woody has consistently gotten crazy with the anti-hype statements. Really, it’s gonna be the most boring threesome ever.
However, this newly-released poster for Vicky Cristina Barcelona would suggest otherwise.

I for one think Woody Allen deserves some sort of award for getting these two (well, three) in bed together. His motives are not that important to me.
