The amazing Christoph Waltz has overcome many things, including questions of his nationality and surviving two decades of German soap opera-type work to turn tail and win an Oscar, but his career has yet to be tested by the likes of The Green Hornet, a comic book movie that has yet to cause even the geeks to “squee.” Considering that this movie’s currently undergoing a crappy post-production 3D conversion and that Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz, and that other guy are the cast highlights — well — it’s up to Waltz to carry this entire thing or, subsequently, move on like it never happened. I’m voting for the latter option.
