Ever since Zac Efron fulfilled his obligatory High School Musical tenure, the bloke has been keen to change the public’s perception of himself as a song-and-dance man, which must have been part of his strategy for starting in this period-drama film, Me and Orson Welles. Efron’s role is Richard Samuels, a 17-year old in 1930s New York City, who is cast in Orson Welles’ (non-musical) Broadway production of Julius Caesar. Along the way, Richard makes heterosexual courtship with production assistant Sonja Jones, played by Claire Danes. Unfortunately, the main problem (among other things) with the above poster is that Danes comes off as the female lead in a Roy Rogers movie. In turn, Efron may as well be the star of some twisted postmodern interpretation of The Gay Ranchero.
Don’t try to fight it, Zac. It’s your calling.

That’s the WORST three wolf moon shirt I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t even have a moon!
Not to be a tool about grammar, but when people use “Me and…” it just grates on my nerves. Also, is Claire Danes playing Zac Efron’s mom?
