Dammit, I just never know what to make of Zooey Deschanel, who’s a pretty good actress but tends to blow things out of the water whenever she appears in various advert campaigns. The primary problem, as with these Rimmel London makeup ads (and the Absolut Hilary Duff campaign), is that Zooey’s barely recognizable as herself. This leads me to assume that the girl will do anything to avoid being mistaken for a fake lesbian, but I suppose that would probably give anyone a complex. Come back to us, Zooey!
