Admittedly, I kinda dug last week’s Absolut Beckinsale adverts, but this one, which features Zooey Deschanel, is another matter altogether. At least Zooey doesn’t look like herself in this advert, so there’s really no chance for anyone to confuse her with Katy Perry. Still, can Zooey maintain her elusive “indie-pixie goddess” status while lending her image (such as it is) to a campaign for vodka and, even worse, one that is also emblazoned with a fucking Cosmopolitan recipe?
